1. About Maarga and these Terms

Maarga is owned and operated by ThriveForm Ventures LLP (LLPIN ACZ-4572), a limited liability partnership registered in India with its registered office at E/84, North Bombay CHS Ltd, Juhu Road, Santacruz West, Juhu, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400049, India ("Maarga", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Maarga mobile application, website, pilgrimage planning tools, booking services, support channels, and related services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility, accounts, and travellers

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create an account or make a booking. The account holder and the person making a booking (the "booker") are responsible for every traveller on that booking. Minors may travel only as part of a booking made and supervised by a responsible adult who has authority to provide their details and to accept these Terms on their behalf. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information, protect your sign-in credentials, and remain responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly at maarga010@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. The Services and third-party providers

Maarga helps users discover, plan, personalise, and book pilgrimage journeys. Transport, accommodation, temple access, guides, meals, medical assistance, payment processing, and other parts of a journey may be delivered by independent third-party providers whose own operating rules and service conditions also apply. Maarga coordinates confirmed services with reasonable care but does not control the events or decisions of temples, public authorities, carriers, hotels, or other independent providers.

4. Booking information and traveller responsibilities

You must review the itinerary, dates, traveller details, inclusions, exclusions, accessibility requirements, and price before confirming a booking. Names and identity details must match the documents travellers will use. You are responsible for obtaining and carrying valid identification, permits, visas where applicable, prescriptions, and other required documents. Contact support promptly if submitted information is incorrect.

5. Prices and payments

Prices are shown before confirmation and may include taxes, platform fees, and selected add-ons. Payments are processed by our authorised payment provider, Razorpay; Maarga does not store full card, UPI, bank, or wallet credentials. A booking is confirmed only when the application displays a confirmation or when Maarga sends a confirmation. Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may leave a booking unconfirmed or subject to cancellation.

6. Cancellations and refunds

The cancellation and refund terms shown for your booking at the time of confirmation form part of these Terms. Where a booking is cancelled by you, refunds are calculated on the API (amount paid, less applicable charges) using the following tiers, measured by the time between your cancellation request and the journey start date:

  • 30 or more days before start: 90% refund;
  • 15 to 30 days before start: 75% refund;
  • 7 to 15 days before start: 50% refund;
  • 3 to 7 days before start: 25% refund;
  • less than 72 hours before start: 0% refund.

The refund preview shown in the application at the time of your request is authoritative for that request. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible and may take the time stated by the payment provider.

7. Changes, rescheduling, and supplier fees

Before a booking is confirmed, you may reschedule free of charge, subject to a fresh availability check for the requested dates. After a booking is confirmed, a change may incur a committed-supplier fee that reflects amounts already committed to third-party providers. Any such fee is set by Maarga administrators, disclosed to you before you accept the change, and payable before the changed dates are confirmed. User-requested changes are always subject to availability and may change the price.

8. Itinerary changes and force majeure

Temple schedules, darshan arrangements, weather, road conditions, public restrictions, festivals, safety concerns, and provider availability may require reasonable changes to an itinerary. Where an event outside our reasonable control (force majeure) prevents a journey from proceeding as planned, we will first offer to reschedule the affected booking. If rescheduling is not possible, the booking is processed through the same refund engine and tiers described in Section 6. We communicate material changes using the contact details associated with the booking.

9. Health, safety, and accessibility

Pilgrimage travel can involve crowds, walking, stairs, altitude, weather exposure, and limited local facilities. Travellers should assess their fitness and seek qualified medical advice where appropriate. Health, mobility, dietary, or accessibility information shared with Maarga must be accurate so requested assistance can be evaluated. Assistance is subject to availability and does not replace professional medical care. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first whenever possible.

10. Conduct and sacred-site rules

You must behave lawfully and respectfully toward fellow travellers, staff, local communities, and places of worship. Follow dress codes, photography restrictions, security instructions, queue rules, and customs communicated by temples or authorities. Maarga may refuse or discontinue service where conduct threatens safety, disrupts a journey, violates law, or materially affects others, subject to applicable law and any refund rights.

11. Intellectual property and user content

The Maarga application, branding, software, text, graphics, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Maarga and may not be copied, reverse engineered, sold, or commercially exploited except as permitted by law. If you submit reviews, feedback, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant Maarga a non-exclusive right to host and display it for operating and improving the Services. You may ask us to remove user content where applicable.

12. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Services, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, scrape content at scale, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent bookings, or use the Services for unlawful activity. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, Maarga, or the integrity of the platform.

13. Availability and disclaimers

We aim to keep information accurate and Services available, but availability may be interrupted and destination information can change. To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Maarga is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by inaccurate traveller information, or events outside our reasonable control, including natural events, government action, closures, strikes, network failures, or the acts of independent providers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Maarga collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that policy. Optional permissions such as precise location or notifications can be controlled through your device settings, although some features may then be unavailable.

16. Suspension and account closure

You may request account deletion through the application where available. Maarga may suspend or close an account for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risk, or legal requirements. Booking, payment, fraud-prevention, and compliance records may be retained where lawfully required even after account closure, as described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Governing law, grievances, and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first contact our grievance officer so we can try to resolve any concern: Sabaa Kashmiri, +91 9667803366, maarga010@gmail.com. If a concern cannot be resolved, the courts at Mumbai, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights and forums that remain available to you. These Terms do not provide for arbitration.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when Services, legal requirements, or business practices change. The current version and effective date will be available through the app. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms or a booking can be sent to maarga010@gmail.com, or to the grievance officer named in Section 17.
